What is Youth Connekt?

Youth Connekt is an impactful program designed to empower young entrepreneurs by providing them with the necessary financial resources and mentorship to fuel their innovative ventures. In partnership with UNDP Zimbabwe, the initiative has trained over 1,000 youth across all ten provinces of Zimbabwe, selecting 30 promising startups for intensive mentorship. These startups received non-monetary resources valued at $100,000, with 10 startups awarded prize money of $5,000 each. The program contributes to economic growth and job creation, emphasizing the critical role of access to finance for social enterprises.

Young entrepreneurs across Zimbabwe’s ten provinces.

Duration & Schedule

6 weeks of pitch training, mentorship, and business bootcamps; ongoing support through Impact Hub Harare.

Application Process

Youths applied through the Youth Connekt program, with top startups selected for further mentorship and support.

Program Benefits

Financial support, mentorship, non-monetary resources, and a two-year membership at Impact Hub Harare for top startups, providing access to a global network of entrepreneurs, mentors, and investors.
